Airstream Cafe

Really good food thats always kept up with the times so far. That's the only reason these guys have been open for more then 20 years since before I started highschool. The decor and interior is dates though but there's good amount of space, also outside dining and a smoking area for smokers. Good bar area and good service. One of the best places in Glen . Needs better ambience and interior to keep up with times but fantastic place to eat out in Glen. 4 stars as anywhere good always has room for improvement.

Nice place to catch a few drinks and they have a good food menu to choose from as well. We visited on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. The drinks menu is decent and we had the beer of the month, the house red and ice teas. The food menu was surprisingly extensive. We tried the halloumi chips which came with a salad, the Dips ( this could’ve been a much better dish), the garlic focaccia bread deserves a shout out (was light, fluffy and filled with garlic and cheese), the vegetarian fajitas, the wild mushroom pizza and the Hangover 2 pizza. So we are more than we drank and it was delicious.

This was my first time coming to this cafe/restaurant and I was very impressed! The service from the staff and atmosphere was fantastic, friendly and inviting with an old school diner vibe. I had the Elvis Chicken Burger after a suggestion from one of the waiters as I was tossing up between a few options and damn, it is definitely up there when it comes to the best burgers I have ever had!!! The chicken just melted in my mouth, was unbelievably soft with a great overall texture for southern fried chicken and the chips were superb as well. I would definitely be suggesting this place to anyone looking for a casual and nice dinner. Will be coming back again in the future to come!

Great place to hangout if you work close by the area. Good selection of entree and mains. We ordered pizza to share which taste pretty good. And we also order Nasi Goreng. The latter is not so good. Ingredients on Nasi goreng include sizeable prawn, bean sprout on the side and sunny side up on top. The rice have some tough part, which might be due lack of water during cooking or not cooked through. But all in all good atmosphere.

Had dinner there this evening. We rarely eat out as the food we eat at home is far better. However I must say the food was great as was the service and the comfort of the place. The steak was cooked perfectly and so was the salmon. Don’t like the chips I get when eating out but these were so nice and crunchy. Just outside the side door of the Novotel where we are staying. Will definitely be back plus take the rest of the family.
