Anaya's Fresh Mexican Restaurant

Seafood enchiladas and seafood chimichanga were both very good. Waitress told us that the food is made fresh and not ahead of time with only a few exceptions, such as the soups. Staff was attentive and the atmosphere was bright and cheerful. Felt like I was on a two-hour vacation to Mexico. Very enjoyable dinner.

This restaurant was lovely. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very nice. I love the Mexican vibe and the decor is super pretty with all the wonderful colors that make you feel nice inside. When I went it was not packed and I was able to be seated right away. I had a couple of margaritas which tasted very yummy. The guy at the bar was cool and attentive. The wait for the food was pretty decent and to be honest I didn't care since I was busy drinking my margarita while I waited and didn't notice the time go by. I would definitely go back again when in the area. Highly recommend!

I rarely leave reviews, but Anaya’s left such a good impression that I felt the need to leave one. Seriously, this is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. From start to finish I was blown away with how good everything was. I ordered the ground beef chimichanga enchilada style and my goodness, it was incredible! The margarita was great and the homemade chips with salsa are delicious as well. Cannot say enough good things about this place, if you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant in the Phoenix area, try Anaya’s. You will not be disappointed!

First time here. What a pleasant surprise! I ordered the tortilla soup, the seafood enchiladas, and a side of guacamole with iced tea. Chips and salsa were supplied as well. Chips were warm, fresh and crispy. Salsa was spicier than I'm used to, but delish. The tortilla soup was AMAZING and HUGE! A full meal by itself. It came piping hot, with many large chunks of chicken in it. It came with avocado and cheese and strips on the side. So, so good! The side of guac I ordered was excellent. The seafood enchiladas were great. Every single bite had seafood in it. Warm creamy sauce on tip. I was in heaven. It came with sides of Spanish rice (better than normal) and refried beans. The iced tea was perfect. All total without tips, it costs $38. I can eat a healthy amount of food, but I didn't even finish half, so it's truly two meals. Very worth it. I highly recommend this place.

My wife was referred here by our friends Dago & Anette and we are glad we tried this place out. The food was delicious, the service was normal nothing out of the ordinary and the atmosphere is typical Mexican food restaurantish. As you can see they don't spare on the drink and that was the small Margherita according to the waiter. We will definitely be returning to this place it was delish.
