Saffron Indian Bistro

I can't believe I've never reviewed this place. Have been coming here for years. The best Indian food in the Valley hands down, I had my first ever taste of Indian food here, and every time I've tried other places, I was always greatly disappointed it wasn't Saffron. Owners are very friendly, servers are great, and the atmosphere is great, but the food speaks for itself! If you love Indian food, this is the place!!!

This place is amazing! The wife of the owner sat us down and was very friendly and suggested plates that blew our minds with flavor. We were gonna get the regular plates we get, but her recommendations made the experience amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and to try the Indian nachos

If you haven’t had the pleasure of Saffron, you’re missing out big time! I had the joy of dining at Saffron recently, a charming mom-and-pop Indian restaurant that left me utterly impressed. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and a casual, cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the tasty food. Every dish was insane and the flavors transported me straight to the streets of India, each with its own unique twist in the best way. The star of the show surprised me, but it is undoubtedly their chicken wrap. Packed with tender, perfectly spicy chicken (I got medium), fresh vegetables, and a delectable sauce, wrapped in a fresh Naan charred just a bit - I am drooling as I write this. I can’t stop raving about it and Saffron. It’s not fancy, but it’s got endless charm and the owners are some of the most kind, genuine, and truly talented people you just can’t seem to find anymore. It felt like visiting a friend's home, where they took immense pleasure in serving and satisfying their guests. If you haven’t been here, RUN DONT WALK—it’s that good!

The food was perfect! I used to go to Vaigai before they closed from COVID and was obsessed with their Chicken Tikka Masala. Well, 3 years later, I found a similar one worthy of returning! The food was perfection and the friendliness of the staff was refreshing compared to every other restaurant. The owner even stopped by my table to have an actual conversation while I was waiting for my husband! Overall, the ONLY critique I have is the kitchen taking so long to bring out the food. HOWEVER, it was so fresh and well worth the wait! I HIGHLY recommend coming here!

By far my favorite Indian restaurant in all of Phoenix. I used to order from here once or twice a month, but sadly I moved across town. But anytime I’m on this side of town for doctor appointments or seeing family, I always have to get the Chicken Tikka Masala, rice and Naan. I can’t say enough about how flavorful their food is and how friendly their staff is. There’s sometimes a wait, but it’s always worth it!
