Mighty Gyros

Hello everyone, I was heading down to 59th Avenue & Bell to pick up my daughter's medication. When I noticed Mighty Gyros . After picking up daughter's medication I stopped at Mighty Gyros and had one of their lamb gyros french fries it was amazing employees are very kind and know exactly what I was wanting. I will be Returning Again!

Food is great! We bought plates and sandwiches. Loved the Greek salad and pita bread! My favorite was chicken shawarma! Family friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Staff was helpful too in describing dishes although I recommend taking a menu brochure that has all the details. Will visit again soon.

Tonight hubby and I decided to try Mighty Gyros for dinner and I have to say we were both very impressed! I ordered the dolmas to start and the chicken shwarma plate as my main course, hubby ordered the gyro sandwich. The owners were also kind enough to let us try the falafel. I have never been a huge falafel fan, but I can definitely tell good falafel from bad and this was excellent. It was fresh, homemade, crispy on the outside while moist on the inside and extremely flavorful. It was accompanied by a delicious hummas. My dolmas were also very good, the appetizer portion comes with 5 dolmas which I really appreciated. Now on to the star (in my opinion) the chicken shwarma! All too often I'm disappointed to see that places say they have shwarma but there's no spit in sight, I was obviously very happy to see 3 large spits going in the front of the restaurant here. The shwarma was incredibly moist and flavorful (seriously perfectly seasoned and I don't throw that phrase around). I was blown away by how incredibly delicious it was, hands down the best shwarma I've had in the US! Hubby loved his gyro sandwich and said it was so good he couldn't put it down! On top of the excellent food, the service was great and the owners were so kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back again soon and absolutely recommend this place! Update - Mighty Gyros is now under new ownership and sadly the food is not anywhere close to as good as it used to be.

Incredible homemade food!!! The seasoning in the ground beef on the kabobs is to die for and the scratch made garlic sauce that Haitham puts together really brings it all together! The chicken gyro was huge and the Greek fries were SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!! Took home some baklava too which was so flaky and thick. Definitely have to come back again! Now open at 10am too!

Fantastic food in a very clean and friendly environment! We have visited about a half dozen times and have been impressed by the food and service every time!! I always get the large salad with either gyro meat or the beef or chicken shawarma and it's outstanding with tons of meat! The gyros are big and meaty and everything is very fresh. Don't miss this place!!
