The Great White Hut

There’s a ton of burger joints in Southern California, so a lotta noise to cut through when you’re trying to find the top spot. The Great White Hut definitely stands out amongst the pack. I’d compare it to a slightly upgraded In-N-Out, as the burgers here also have thousand island dressing. The menu at Great White Hut is a bit more expansive, however, and showcases some of the area’s Mexican fare. I enjoyed the street tacos with a cheeseburger, and will definitely be back in the morning to try the breakfast tacos as well. If you ever find yourself in Downtown Glendale, I’d recommend you give this little burger shack a shot.

Got an uber eats promo code so I scrolled around and found the great white hut. I remembered seeing their souped up fries online and they were having a BoGO deal for the cheeseburger, fries, and classic fritas so I bought two cheeseburgers with egg and bacon add on, two fries, two classic fritas (fries w carne asada, feta, cilantro, garlic aioli) and chips and guac (so unnecessary with the amount of food we got). Omgggg we barely made a dent in one of the classic fritas after devouring our burgers. The guac we finished cuz it browns. The chips, fries and fritas will be tomorrow’s breakfast carb! Love finding new burger joints and glad I finally got to try the great white hut!

Review update: This place has changed. They used to be quick and friendly and clean. It’s a different vibe than it used to be. Most importantly, the food is always disappointing now. Sad. 2 Years Ago: This place is incredible. Great food, great experience. The fries are so good. Anytime I order food here, it’s the same great quality. Geo that works here is a cool guy too. The employees are attentive and friendly. My boyfriend and I often drive from downtown la to come to this location.
