Very basic and nothing - nothing special for me. I found the food to have no flair, no particular taste - maybe it’s partly because my dish was white sauce with some meat rather than the other way round. Their lemon hummus was good which is why I didn’t go for one star. The service was very so so too. I wouldn’t recommend or go back.

Halal guys has mastered the basics of chicken and rice. I really enjoy their chicken and rice bowls with the white and red sauce. Really flavorful and delivered quickly. Prime location in a nice part of Glendale. The falafels, however, were terrible and I think they need to modify the falafel recipe.

Alright let me tell you to start. I'm not a big fan of Mediterranean type food. But I gave it a try and I am pleasantly surprised that it pretty good. My coworker told me it was more middle eastern though. I got the beef gyro sandwich. Really fresh and really fast service. Fries were good too. Crinkle cut fries.
Staff was really friendly. With it being a new place they are still getting the hang of things, but overall it's a five star for what it is.
Good prices too.

When you want chicken and rice nyc style you must get it. Obviously it’s not the same (at all). But if you never had the OG halal guys in nyc and you never heard of the hype and you’re just getting a bowl of chicken and rice, this hits the spot. The red sauce needs a warning label. Love the white sauce.
