I was invited here to a birthday party. Being that I'm not a big fan of banquet halls, and quite critical of them, I did not have any desire to come. The reviews of Veranda were mixed, and the negative ones really caught my attention. I came here not expecting to be satisfied, and boy was I wrong. The food was amazing and they had a variety. I loved the baked fish, beef kabob and the lamb. The cheeses were great, salad was good. The food quality was very high and everything I had was delicious. The music was great, just a bit loud for my liking, but that's no biggie for me. I don't know where the negative reviews came from, but I would not be surprised if they're other restaurant/banquet owners just trying to tarnish a competitors reputation. I've been to other similar places where the food was not good. You will not be disappointed at this place when it comes to the quality and taste of their food.

We had a great time at Veranda last night! The food was delicious and fresh, our waiter Misha was very friendly and provided us with the greatest service, was always there for us when we needed him! Oh... where to find words to describe the atmosphere at this place? It is just amazing, the lights, decorations, effects, etc They got some top musicians singing and playing all night!!! Great experience, awesome job, you guys!

This is the most rude and unprofessional venue in Glendale. I came here on an afternoon for a dinner party, the entire terrace was booked for my company, the terrace was covered with curtains and during sunset the sun was right on our face, they didn’t cover the western part of the terrace. Food wise, I specifically told the waiter that I am vegetarian and don’t prefer cilantro nor dill, but here we go the waiter comes and shoves chicken salad and shrimps in my plate and I told him “hey, I don’t eat that” and his response was “it’s ok”. Talking about the shrimps, I saw the shrimp delivery made to the venue when I was looking for the main entrance, and to be honest the scene of shrimp delivery did not look nice nor “clean”. Drink wise, they serve wine in a freaking black coated cups!!!! I mean who does that!!!! Such a waste of time for me, staff are intentionally very rude in general, save your money and don’t go there. REPLY TO OWNER You are a ridiculous person and very far away from being a professional in service industry. I’m happy you answered to me so I can use your answer and report to USDA Food Safety program. I’m really happy you took this step so at least you are learning from your mistakes, hopefully.

I don’t know where to start. What an awful experience.. I was invited to an invent today, mind you it’s over 100 degrees, and let me tell you I wish I didn’t attend. There was no AC or fans. And clearly the owner of this establishment doesn’t care. There were 13 people sitting on each table and sharing food. Waiters not wearing masks nor keeping 6 feet distance. How is this even allowed by CDC or Health Department. Thank god I didn’t even eat food from the table. The food looked like it was few days old. Avocado salad looked so black that just by looking at it you feel like throwing up. They had cold cuts on the table which looked like it’s been sitting under the head for past few ours. The jalapeño bacon looked as if it was made few days ago and it was just warmed up to fool the guest. Perhaps unexpected audit from CDC and health department wouldn’t hurt at this point. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Please save your $$$ and go elsewhere where they accommodated and follow rules and regulations. If there was 0 stars I would most definitely rate as 0.

I hardly leave reviews anywhere, but..OMG what an awful staff, lack of customer service, and downright rude! Today is Sunday and we had a celebration there reserved (unfortunately) and let me tell you it was straight from a horror movie! They sat us down a party of 70 OUTSIDE 2nd floor patio at 110° we asked for fans at least and they replied we don't have them when asked what do you mean should we bring our own? Without hesitation reply was yes! To top it all off the catering was horrible and downright dangerously old and spoiled. I have no doubt in my mind that they were serving us leftovers from their Fri-Sat reservation tables. Shrimp looked dark purplish, bacon cabbage looked all spoiled and rotten and they actually stole more than half of the 70 party size cake back in their kitchen after we handed it over to be served.. All 70 people went back home disgusted and hungry from a bridal shower. Unreal! A ruined bridal shower and 5K down the drain! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ITS A DUMP! If I could give -10☆ I would!

Amazing service, clean environment, delicious food, incredible atmosphere. Veranda has become my favorite place in Glendale to celebrate any occasions with friends and family. Their menu is so unique. Each dish is finessed to perfection. We will definitely be coming back frequently! Thank you guys for the amazing service and remarkable food!

Literally the best Armo spot in all of LA. All the other 1 starters need to understand one thing don't go to a place like this on a Sunday. Ever. Stop cheaping out and go on Friday or Saturday. Vibe is great, music is top notch service is even better. I love this place. Compared to other places in encino and etc... this place is lit, no corners cut.
