Falone's Glenolden

Joe Falone has great meat!! Not talking about the running pics on Facebook. I’m talking about the fresh sliced meat his family has been serving on their cheesesteaks since 1952. This is one of the cheesesteaks that doesn’t need the extras. Yes Tom I am talking about the lettuce and tomato. Great meat! I wish it was on a less bready roll and the cheese was melted in better.

This is the Falones from Southwest Philly on Elmwood Ave and the hoagies are still made the same way from back in the day, so for a trip down memory lane that'll keep your mouth salivating for some Jewish pickle on your ham and cheese hoagie stop in and have taste of the good old days. I was really hesitant to try this place after seeing one bad review out of the rest of the good ones but after trying it I was really impressed. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. I travel to diff states so I like trying new things and I'm glad I stopped by. I'm picky about food and love a LOT of flavor. Not only did the sandwich have a lot of flavor but the fries caught me off guard because they weren't plain like most places. It had a lot of flavor as well. Definitely coming back here. Don't always judge a place by one negative review when most are good. I'm glad I gave it a chance because it was well worth it! Even the employees were extremely friendly and welcoming. A lot of places are usually rude so that adds to the good service! Keep up the good work guys!

The best!!! I Found out these were the same owners/family from South West Philly that my family had been raving about for years. When I brought home 4 Cheesteaks and 4 Italian hoagies with sharp provolone, they couldn’t believe it. These sandwiches beat anything on Passyunk Ave, South Street, Wharton St, Chester pike, and MacDade Blvd. Superb!!! Please stay in Delco. Forever.

I ordered food through Uber eats, but was missing a part of my order. When I contacted Falone’s the woman was very rude and dismissive & insisted she personally put the item in there. She hung up the phone on me after putting me on hold! When I called back she rushed me off the phone and said that doesn’t have to do with them to contact Uber Eats. I know she messed up the order because not only was the item never in the bag, but there was a bbq sauce in there when nothing I ordered used bbq sauce. Horrible customer service! Do better! The food was also average.
