We had two adults and five kids ... we were seated in the raised area and away from the other diners which was perfect for us as the boys could relax and enjoy themselves.
Ordering food at the bar was quick and easy as there was no queues.
Food turned up quickly and exactly as ordered (we have a couple of fussy ones) so there were no complaints.
Would definitely go back again.

Went in today for a family meal
We were served at the bar by a lovely young lady called Megan,it was her first week in the job,she was on her own behind the bar
The pub was very busy and she stayed calm and served everyone with a lovely smile
She was so friendly and helpful
The food was great too
Haven’t been there for awhile definitely go back again soon

Brilliant new landlord and management in the pub. The place has a great friendly atmosphere, service and prices for food and drink. Lucky to have a great place so close by, I highly recommend coming here

23.9 - update. Decided to try again & what an improvement!!
Bar staff friendly and area clean, server was nice and polite, food was good, tables were clean. Will be back if this experience is anything to go by 👍🏽

Had a nice main meal which was good Hunters Chicken then ordered Dessert of Apple and Raspberry Crumble and it was Cold it had obviously not been put in the microwave so unable to eat , couldn't see a member of staff to tell so had to leave it bit disappointing , we have been twice in the past few months and each time meal and dessert was fine !! Thanks Mrs Susan Durrant . Ps The choice of Deserts is a bit thin mostly ice cream based no Treacle Sponge Pudding that they use to do and was my favourite !!

Good location and parking. We booked on line and our name was on our table. Very efficient person taking our orders at the bar - Pheobe. Table was a little small for the four of us but not a major issue. Food was great and hot. One of the mains was a little late coming out but really not a problem. We had a great evening. Very pleasant decor, a good range of food on the menu and reasonable prices. Suprised it wasn't a lot busier on a Saturday night but I guess that was to our benefit. Had a great meal, thanks.

Our table was reserved for us. We were given a friendly greeting on arrival. The staff are always attentive, checking to make sure we are happy with our meals. Although they are busy, the staff always give good service, and never appear to be harassed or grumpy.

Hadn't been for a few months because service was terrible, however I was pleasantly surprised at how much better the service and waiting times were. Service was efficient, food was fresh and hot. Cutlery and glasses were clean. New staff I've never seen before were friendly. Good value for money.

My husband and I drove past a sign post The Wagon and Horse and we decided to stop for Sunday Roast at the Hotel. The Staff kindly found us a seat as we did not have a booking. Thec Food, and atmosphere and service was exceptional. We were very happy with out find .

Very friendly staff, they were busy and understaffed, our pre booked table wasn't ready but to be fair the staff made every effort to make us welcome. The food was good and wholesome, hot, plentiful and we had a lovely time, maybe management may need to look at a booked table being clean and ready for the customer, I still recommend this establishment for a good experience
