The Vine Bar And Kitchen

I haven't been out in Gloucester for a while, well years actually, other than for work. So whilst popping into the city today we fancied a drink on the way back to the car park so we popped in to The Vine Bar & Kitchen. We chose The Vine for two reasons, the first it was convenient for where the car was parked, and secondly because Mrs G had recently had an afternoon tea and drinks at The Vine. So we popped in for an hour, sat in the rear garden area in bright sunshine. We only had drinks, Mrs G opting for a cocktail that was on draught, whilst I had a pint of the American pale ale 🍺. Very nice. Friendly staff. Good service. Whilst we didn't eat this time Mrs G did when she last visited earlier this month and for those that know it, she said that the food was better than The Bottonist in Cheltenham.

Fantastic place with a great atmosphere! The afternoon teas and platters are delicious and great value for money. Cocktails are awesome!! I love the decor and we were made to feel very welcome. In difficult times they are observing social distancing and we felt very safe eating and drinking here. We will definitely be back!

What a lovely venue! Very cosy and accommodating. When I ordered my cocktail they made a bit too much in the blender so they gave me an extra glass for free! Very thoughtful, that made my evening! They also made sure that I got to sit where I wanted to and waited on our hand and foot the entire evening. Top class service, thank you

***Highly recommended*** My wife and I stumbled across "The Vine" last Saturday, the building is lovely and has a very quirky interior, we were welcomed by the staff and took our seats to have breakfast - I had a full English and the wife had eggs benedict with extra bacon, including coffees it was under £20 which is very cheap especially for the quality and amount of food that was served (we didn't eat until dinner). We are returning for Lunch this Saturday coming.
