5 stars for the ambiance, staff, and vibe of the place. Food didn’t live up to what I was hoping. We got the grilled cheese dip and the Venetian. grilled cheese was okay, not a ton of cheese and a lot more bread, ratio was off. The bisque was tasty, not sure if it’s just me but I love a creamy bisque, which is wasn’t so I wasn’t a huge fan. Everything was great quality (especially the ube cookie, yum) but I guess I just wasn’t a big fan of our chosen sandwiches. I’d return to try others.

Absolutely try their sandwiches if you're in Goleta. I had their version of a beef dip, and it was totally delicious, a tad spicy but not too, the picture of a perfect beef dip. Inside seating on tables with benches. Big assortment of drinks in a nearby fridge. I'm not usually a sandwich person, but this is definitely worth trying.

Mediocre food and service, they don’t have all the menu items, didn’t let us build our own even though it said we could on the physical and online menus, and both our sandwiches were ordered on baguettes and came out on different kinds of bread. I waited for like half an hour for my sandwiches. Not worth the time or the money. I could have made better sandwiches at home for less of both :/

Goleta Location. I've been twice. First time was pretty bad because they were having technical difficulties, long story but because of that I gave it a second try. I'm forgiving of long waits and mediocre hospitality, especially if the food is good! If not, well, then theres no reason to go back. There are a few expectations I have when going to a sandwich shop. One, the bread must be fresh. If the outside edges of the bread are hard, these people shouldn't own a sandwich shop. Unfortunately, that was the case here. So, like a child, I pulled off the outer crust. Messy and unacceptable IMO. The rest of the sandwich was a bit mushy and not enjoyable. I tossed most of it. The second thing i expect and often don't get elsewhere is that their meat have no nitrates. There menu claims no nitrates, I truly appreciate that. I won't go again though because there are much better options. You must care about the bread and whats in between to be a really good sandwich shop.

Took an unbelievably long time to make a sandwich while the store was empty. Turkey sandwich had basically no turkey in it and the Reuben had an inedible amount of horseradish on it. Overall really not good. Not going back. This place has been on a steady decline for a while. Looks nice when you first walk in, but it really isn’t.
