Mj Cafe

Came to try out the pizza, handmade dough is tasty and crispy but too thin, some of our pizza didn't survive being picked up out of the box. Sweet potato fries were totally soggy but the 2yo liked them, had he not we would have sent them back. Buffalo chicken bites were good and messy, it would be great to serve it with a fork or at least access to one. The server did her best but was alone and too busy to get any help from, I don't like feeling like a nuisance at an eatery. We're hoping it was an off night and are willing to try out the pizza again maybe next time we won't get smoked out of the place.

Perhaps the best matcha latte that I've had. I do although opine that they are not priced fairly in their snacks. A single peanut butter protein ball was two dollars. I expected it to be 60 cents for something so little and presumably easy to make. Not merely that but do they have a poor or limited selection in snacks. I have not visited this place enough to sample what their service is usually like, but I can tell you that there were nice people.

I wanted to love it but so far pretty disappointing. So after Zizzo's closed this place moved into ice in paradise. It took them a long time to get their liquor license but when they did the hockey leagues were informed the cafe would be open until 11pm. Well, after finishing at 6:45 game, and getting changed we walked out ready to buy some beer and food and watch the rest of the games for that night. Imagine our disappointment to be told that it was last call and no food was available. Ended up having to call Woodstock's for delivery. I recommend that you do not count on being able to buy food here. Bummer.
