Mimi's Cafe

Mimis Cafe on Dysart. Mid morning Tuesday, no wait. I ordered the French toast with orange marmalade & cream cheese filling, mixed berries and strawberry compote topping, along with eggs and bacon. First, no orange marmalade that I could see or taste, and very little cream cheese. Very little compote on top. Half my French toast order was dry. Some of the bacon was burnt. My wife ordered eggs Benedict with fried potatoes, and grilled onions and peppers. Meal came, no onions or peppers. When we asked the waitress, no apology, just an "oh yea." Then half way through her meal the onions and peppers came. 2 others with us, food was just ok. Best tasting were their carrot muffins. The service not gracious at all. This place has seriously declined in the last few years. Outside, plants dying or dead, spider webs on benches and tables, and seriously dusty benches inside too. Very disappointed.

Came in for a late breakfast on Valentine's Day. We waited 30 min for a table, mind you half the restaurant was empty. We waited another 15 min to get drinks; water (was a big order). And another 30 min to recieve 1 pancake breakfast (past 11:00 AM). One of the managers brought the order over and apologized for the wait. But when my husband recieved his food the pancakes were all undercooked and the tea I ordered (the waitress forgot); cup was dirty and had someone's hair on it. Would not recommend going here at all. Bad service; bad food. Mimi's has gone down the drain. We left and went to Chik Fil A instead.

We are from out of town looking for somewhere to eat. Every other breakfast place in town had a long wait. We came in and we're greeted with smiles, no wait, great food and great service. Had a filling breakfast. Would totally recommend this place and will be coming back in the future! I even got a to-go cup to finish my lemonade.
