Mexican American Cafe

First timer....got a (2) Carne Asada burrito plate w rice and beans ($10.95) added avocado ($1.75) w/jamica ($2.00).......burrito was wet not topped w cheese it was white nacho cheese, lettuce was old, meat was over seasoned, tortilla was not even warm only soggy from white nacho cheese, pico looked like it had been sitting in room temp and even more soggy when I picked it up, rice has nooooo flavor, neither did the beans but even beans have flavor. Lettuce under my avocado was bad, avocado looked decent but also looked like it had one more day left. Had to take the meat out and use my own flour tortilla. The portion of rice and beans was mediocre. Salsa is defiantly out of a can or bottle and they added some cilantro also just tomatoes no spicy or salsa. Chips were Very cold but crisp... Very disappointed...rating was at a 99.0 but it has failed to 96.0....I feel bad for the firefighters who were eating there. I even make canned food better than what I purchased. I should of gotten Pizza Hut....but sadly this meal was a no go for me. I was not going to judge w the run down hotel next door. But this place Needs Gordon Ramsey!! NEUVOO Taco in Durham is worth the drive! Goodluck....my stomach is starting to hurt...ughh CHEAP COOKING....I JUST WANTED MEXICAN FOOD NOT A SLOPPY MEAL:( NO LOVE WAS MADE TO MY FOOD.

Price was fair for serving size, but taste was nothing spectacular. Service was poor. Had to ask for chip refill, not once was I asked if I needed drink refill or anything else. Chips and empty salsa bowl confiscated when food arrived without asking if more were wanted. Only times server came to table were to take drink order, return with that order and at same time took food order, and last time she came by was to drop off meal...
