Red River Valley Grill & Market

Parking is great. No waiting in lengthy lines for departure or getting luggage at arrival time. This is about the airport; not the airlines. The airline is another story and not good. After 5 hour delay due to snow and high winds the flight was canceled and scheduled for 1 pm following day. 12 hours after cancellation and toddlers and babies sitting in airport from 8pm until 1am before cancelling the flight. Allegiant airways could have done a far better job predicting with all the computers and weather forecasting the flight cancellations. Thank God and someone with a brain at Canadinn sent a bus for stressed out travelers at 1am. Have a good day in Phoenix when you get there.

I generally like grand forks air port. It’s got a great atmosphere, and typically extremely kind staff. But, I gave it one star, for one guy. He’s definitely close to retirement age, and he acts like it as well. I’ve been to this airport three times. And it seems as if he believes he’s TSA, the police, and whatever his real job is, which seems to be something related to keeping the grounds, or something similar. An extremely argumentative and tiny man, living miserably, to make others lives miserable. I absolutely dread that man.

Definitely on the smaller end of an airport, only 2 gates and absolutely no problem navigating around. Building is neat and got a few quite interesting models on display - some fun machineries and even an AF predator UAV model! People here are really nice in general, but bear in mind that the shops and only restaurant do close after working hours which is something like 5pm, and the vending machines here only accept $1/5 bills or coins, while ATM only gives $20 bills [facepalm] so yeah... definitely prep some change if you intend to wait for someone here during after hours.
