The Chimneys

Arrival to this restaurant was pretty difficult. If you don't know where restaurant is located GPS will take you pass the restaurant by one turn. We're ended up in Salute parking lot. We had to ask for directions from people. Found it! Restaurant is a beautiful big old house with large porch that you can dining in. Walked in to a hostess asking if we had a reservation. We did not but it was still plenty of tables available. No wait time. After we got seated our waitress was with us within minutes. They serve you a warm French bread with butter while you wait for you're food. Food didn't take long to cook. Everything tastes amazing! You can tell all of the seafood was fresh! Great experience! Will definitely be back!

I love The Chimneys ❤️ Let's start with how cute and quaint this place is. It's perfectly positioned in a beautiful location right off of the beach. We arrived to a warm welcome and smiling faces for our 1p.m. Sunday brunch reservation and were seated immediately. We were seated inside at the front with a beautiful view of the Gulf. The brunch menu left nothing to be desired offering a plethora of options that leave me wanting to come back for more. The chimneys bruch menu is not your typical brunch menu. The menu offers a combination of a gourmet brunch selections along with your choice of classic favorites. I decided to choose the Eggs benedict which comes with your choice of ham or beef along with 2 sides and a complimentary glass of champagne. It was perfect ❤️

We chose this based on reviews, our initial start when we got seated was horrible. Upon asking for a new server our visit turned around immediately. Our waitress was very attentive, and gave recommendations. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. We definitely will visit again when back in the area.

We have eaten dinner here twice while on the coast and both times the food and service was excellent. We made reservations and have never had a wait. The location is beautiful, right across from the beach. Would highly recommend dining outside if it isn’t too hot. The menu has lots of fresh seafood options. We had the seared tuna appetizer and sautéed crab claws, both delicious. My husband got the special, which I think was stuffed redfish. I had the crabmeat Chimneys and it was great! We had 2 creme brûlée for dessert because it was so good we didn’t want to share. We will definitely be back again.

Unfortunately when you Google "Gourmet Breakfast" in Mississippi Waffle House and McDonalds comes up. Thankfully I looked deeper and found this place to have brunch. I ordered the crab cakes and fried eggs, a side of bacon, and a side of cheese grits. Everything was tasty beyond expectations. And I say that because locally there aren't a lot of options for a decent breakfast. This place is definitely worth a visit for sure. Our server Bryan was attentive, informative, and our food arrived promptly and with complimentary mimosas! Go here.

We made a reservation for 8pm but we had to wait a little due to large parties that came in earlier. While we waited, they allowed us to grab drinks at the bar. When we finally were sat, we ordered appetizers which came out quicker than expected. We ordered sautéed crab claws, seared tuna and crab cakes, all were delicious. For my entree, I got their special of the day, Red fish with lump crab & shrimp and their garlic potatoes. I did get to try my wife’s Oysters Chimney’s which were excellent. It was rich and full of flavor. Looking forward to go back to try everything else.
