My partner and I have visited this location several times and it is consistently great. The food is fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. We’ve tried many of the items on the menu but the standouts are the oysters Rockefeller, Royal Reds, Fried shrimp, and the Redfish Orleans. You cannot go wrong with any of them. They don’t take reservations so you may wait a bit but it’s never been more than 30 minutes. Enjoy!

When I saw "Voodoo tacos" on the menu while looking for a spot for lunch, I had to try this place. My stomach led me to the best shrimp tacos I have ever had. They had the right amount of kick to them, they were flavorful, and with a side of gumbo, this meal was one of the best I enjoyed while in the area. Paired with a Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan as well as a vintage bank setting and this place is the full monty. Do not pass this place up if you are in the area.

We spent the holiday weekend in the Gulf Shores with our last night in Gulfport, Mississippi. We found this jewel through Google. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The almond encrusted chicken, the steamed in garlic crab claws, and the crab cakes/ green tomatoes were recommended by our amazing waiter (Vincent). If you are in the area you must try this place. It is well worth the cost and time. We especially thank Vincent for making our experience a great one.

We always come to Half Shell to celebrate the big wins! From getting my art into a gallery to deciding to move to Texas! We will miss one of our favorite places on the coast. Amazing food, drinks and servers!
