A good local seafood house with an impressive wine list and very tasty food. My family and I tried out this restaurant and had the pleasure of having Stephen as our server. He did an excellent job of guiding us through the selections and offering his knowledge and advice (especially on Bourbon). We tried the BBQ salmon, shrimp platter, and our small one ordered a burger. All the dishes were fresh and tasty. The menu features an emphasis on southern classics and you can’t go wrong with any of them. I also highly recommend the outdoor seating if the weather is pleasant. We haven’t tried the dining tables inside the large wine room yet but we absolutely will. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were in town celebrating our wedding anniversary and after having run around all day decided to eat…at nearly 10:30 at night. Patio 44 Gulfport was open and still seated us even though they close at 11. We had the best experience! The staff had been slammed all day because of Scrapin the Coast but still made us feel so welcome even though they were probably ready to go home. We were lucky to have gotten the most delightful young lady Meredith as our server. Meredith was so sweet and made great suggestions on our menu options. We were never “rushed” and we kept this lovely lady talking and she made us feel special. And the food….amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the seared ahi tuna and fried green tomatoes for our appetizers and Étouffée, the BLT wedge salad and shrimp tacos for our main entrees. These days it’s hard to find great service and amazing food but Patio 44 Gulfport does just that! They are also very accommodating as I did not want my shrimp blackened and they made it the way I wanted and let me change my side item too. My husband said that the étouffée was the best he had ever had! We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!

While in town visiting for Christmas we were taken here for dinner. The staff were absolutely amazing! Our party arrived earlier than the other half but they set up and got our drinks and some bread while we waited. The waitress was so polite and super friendly and engaged my children! The menu had a little of everything for everyone! My son ,who is picky about his chicken, enjoyed his strips. My daughter.loved her shrimp ,but was not fond of the Alfredo sauce. Wife's tacos had a huge portion of shrimp , more than enough with each bite! The ribeye that I had was delicious and served at exactly the right temperature! The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and the tables were not to crowded either. I really enjoyed eating here and will have to make it back!

Positive energy and experience as soon as you walk in. Our server, Neysa, was very patient as we kept talking instead of looking at the brunch menu, oops. She was courteous and helpful, anticipating needs and sharing details of the menu. Obviously I tried a bit of both entrées and all sides - and everything was delicious! We enjoyed mimosas and eventually moved over to the bar for more cocktails, where the good service was continued. Several hours passed easily, as everything about the experience was great; Patio 44 made for a true Sunday fun day complete with a new member on the list of favorite local restaurants.

We got there at 11am for Sunday Brunch. It wasn't crowded, so we got seated quickly. Our server Alexis was amazing. She greeted us promptly, kept up with drink refills, and checked in enough but without being overbearing. Food felt like it took a tad bit longer than anticipated, but everything was hot, accurate, and tasty. I wish they did keep salt and pepper on the table because all the eggs were slightly under seasoned for our liking. The beignets weren't our favorite either. I found them doughy, slightly old oil tasting, and stringy on the powdered sugar. Overall a pleasant and tasty experience and will come back for brunch again.

Wanted to try something different and out of my norm. I ordered the fried green tomato blt and wow. What an amazing sandwich. Highly recommend it to those wanting to try something new. I'm normally a burger and fries or steak and potato kind of guy. Glad I expanded my horizons and will definitely order again. Only downfall was service was a little slow but in a COVID-19 environment it's very understandable. I'm a patient and understanding person unlike other guest. *Update - went back in June 2022 and tried the pimento cheese sandwich. Was amazing. My date did the soup and salad combo. Another great experience. Went as soon as they opened for a lunch date and it was perfect!
