Texas Petes is always a winner, they always have flavorful meat that's soft and tender
The box on the left is a two meat box Brisket and Pork belly,
The Right box is a half rack of ribs. If you want tender flavor full meat go to Texas Petes

Awesome experience! Had a 3 meats tray with Smoked Brisket, Smoked Pork belly and Smoked Ribs. The meat was delicious and super tender, cooked to perfection. Comes with coleslaw, fries and fluffy soft buns. It was just the right amount for 2 people, we loved it.

I absolutely love texas Pete's.
I've been enjoying their food since they first started in their food truck in dinsdale, and now 2 fully operated shops in hamilton. Great food, their ribs are so good, their brisket everything is so good. Wonderful service and the atmosphere is amazing. I recommend Texas Pete's 1000%

Food is incredible here!! Had the smashed brisket beef burgers with fries and pork belly + strawberry milkshake. Burgers are divine, meat is cooked to perfection. Fries are fresh and crisp, flavours melt in your mouth! Strawberry shake tastes like strawberry cheesecake and is lovely and thick. Service is quick and awesome. 100% recommend this place.

Meat was yummy so were the burgers we got the kiwi as and southern chicken burger both yum as...also tried the sticky date pudding and apple pie and reccomend them both. WE ENJOYED OUR TIME AT PETES TEXAS BBQ JOINT!!

Amazing! Tried a dirty double smashed burger and it was tasty, succulent and everything you want in a smash burger. I’d definitely try the triple smash burger next time. Bun was soft and buttery. Pattie’s we’re cooked to perfection, slightly fatty and well seasoned. The fries were crisp and exactly how you want your fries. Service was also top notch. Well done! Wish it was closer but will definitely be making the drive from Auckland again soon. Can’t recommend enough.

Suggested by my cousin after we found ourselves in town during that awkward time that restaurants weren’t open for meals until 5pm or else weren’t taking walk-ins… this place is amazing!!! Beautifully cooked meats, and large portions. Condiments complimented the meats too. They even have vegetarian options. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is spacious, the wall art is vibrant which makes the place a vibe. Clean and tidy and well lit. Lots of parking outside and easy to find. We’ll definitely be making the trip from Auckland to eat here again!
