Charming staff. Delicious Black-Forest cake. French fries to die for! Lovely, calm ambience!
Suggestion: one table with a curtain which can be drawn for customers (like me) who need time to recover from the pupil-dilating eyedrops needed for eye photography around the corner.

Coming back to the city from a visit to the Hospital saw a sign out for Clarence Street Cafe and I thought never knew this place was here so decided to call in. It was a bit later than 2.00 and only one other couple were inside but it looked neat and tidy. Cabinet still had a good assortment of food and I decided on the muffin - it was very tasty indeed, and the coffee was even better - so 5 stars and one day I'll be back
