The Daily Grind & Slice

If you're looking for a good, local, non-chain coffee shop, you've gotta try the Daily Grind. I moved out on my own just under 2 years ago, and even tho I'm in the same county, I hadn't spent much time in Hamilton nor had really gone looking for coffee shops. And now having begun traveling as an adult, I realized that compared to a city like Des Moines, Hamilton isn't a coffee shop town. But when I found the Daily Grind I got excited. The people are pleasant, the fresh-ground, iced mocha and signature BLT are incredible, and places like Starbucks are now like "store-bought" compared to The Daily Grind's "homemade" style. Currently in line and there are 9 or 10 cars, so plan ahead and give yourself a few minutes extra if you're headed to work. It's definitely worth it.

My boyfriend and I go here almost everyday for smoothies and their turkey sandwich. Recently we tried their pizza and it was honestly one of the best pizzas we've ever had! Besides their delicious food, addictive smoothies, and their prices being reasonable - on top of that, the staff are all very courteous, accomodating, and are just good-natured, friendly people. Even though we mostly go through the drive thru, we always look forward to nice weather so we can enjoy our food and drink at their outside tables. Hands down one of my top favorite places to eat. I'd recommend this place to everyone I know ☕🍕💕💜

I didn't know for a while that I could get great hoagies, pizza, and sandwiches, just a block away from me. The place is small, so I am only getting drive-through there. They actually make the food to order, so you'll be asked to pull into the lot while they bring the food out. I wish their website was working, but if you dig you can find a photo of their menu on their facebook profile.

We only ordered beverages but will be back to try the food. Great prices, great service and delicious beverages. The coffee was amazing and they were able to accommodate to lactose restrictions. The star of the day went to the banana smoothie though. Brought me right back to my childhood and I would go back just for that nostalgic feeling again.

Good food and good coffee if you're just looking for a drive-through that's locally owned and operated. The building itself is pretty small and not a good place if you want to eat inside. Everything is reasonably priced, the biggest downside is the drive-through can be really slow sometimes which isn't great if you're on a tight schedule to get to work.

Cute little shop!! :) DELICIOUS food, seriously. Large croissants, I was expecting like a small normal sized croissant. Loved it!! I got the sausage egg and cheese and my girlfriend got the bacon egg and cheese. Also my green tea latte was incredibly good. They work really hard here! Check them out :)
