Steak 'n Shake

Very nice but busy place. Love there half price shakes during 2-5. This is a corporate store and they take coupons at this location. Bit of a wait in line if you order a burger but worth it. I do recommend the new prime steak burger it is delicious. Some high prices but always coupons in the Sunday paper for a wide selection of things.

This place has really turned around! And I mean this in the best way possible! The service has gotten faster. A few months ago I came through the drive through and it took me ..... No lie 30+ minutes just to get my food. I do understand the dining room was completely filled and the drive through had at least 7 cars in it mine was one of them. So I sat and paitenly waited. When I got my food it was cold and completely wrong. I didn't go back until last night and this time my food was hot and fresh and it litteraly was so fast I couldn't believe it. I gave the drive thru worker $5 tip and told her to keep up the good work. Excellent turn around steak n shake!!!

It was our last resort coming here. So we walked in and of course we get ignored by the waitresses and waiters. EXCEPT the fry cook (Jimmy). He noticed it and greeted us and suggested we sat at the bar and he will take care of us. So we gave it a shot and didnt regret it one bit. He seemed like the only one there who cared about his job. He seemed like he enjoyed his job. Ive never gotten such great service at a steak n shake anywhere! He kept busy but constantly checked on us to make sure we were good on refills to make sure the food is good and to make sure we were happy. He is one hell of a cook too. Ive never had such a burger so good and my brother agreed (hes hard to please too). So needless to say he got apretty great tip.
