Chili's

Horrible…I would zero stars if I could. Food was over cooked and not good, server was horrible(Joe)…I understand they had an emergency in the kitchen but our server was not part of that, he was more busy talking and standing around then tending to his tables. We will never return to this location again. And this was my husbands birthday dinner and I wanted to have dessert and them to sing but our server was horrible so we didn’t bother asking for things a third time. We will be going somewhere else for a birthday dinner for my husband another night, he deserves so much better then this.

My son and I decided to do Chili's tonight. We hadn't been there in quite some time. Now I know why I haven't been there in a while. We were seated at our table and the first thing I noticed was how run down and worn out the floor was. There were cracks in the floor and there were tortilla chips on it as well, in the walkway. There was also a rip in the bench I was sitting on at our booth. We placed our orders. We ordered honey Chipotle wings for an app. I had the chicken Quesadilla explosion salad for an entree, which was earmarked as a customer favorite. My son had the Brisket burger. My son's meal was good. It was warm and flavorful. As for my meal. The quesadillas were cold. The chicken was cold. The melted cheese on top was cold and hardened. Salad was kinda flavorful, but the lettuce was soggy. Oh the app we ordered, came out after our entrees. We had the server box it up to go. The service was average at best. The server seemed like he was overwhelmed. He was running around pretty frantically. I figured he was new, so I cut him a break. He tried his best. I was more disappointed with the quality of food and the appearance of the restaurant. It gave off the feeling like they would soon be closing down. I'd think long and hard about going back to eat there again.

Chili's currently offers 3 for 10 and 2 for 25 on their menu. The 3 for 10 which I think gives you more for your money lets you pick a beverage, soup or salad and an entree. I ordered a raspberry iced tea, chicken enchilada soup and Cajun shrimp pasta. It was filling. The pasta needs more flavor and creaminess. I should have ordered a burger for entree. The onion blossoms [appetizer] and chili are pretty decent. Mango flavored tea is light and I should say refreshing. Ice cream topped cookie dessert is a sweet treat to a nice meal. If you're on a budget chili's is the place to go while this promo lasts. I gave four stars for some cleanliness issue with the table we were given. Crumbs and stains had to be wiped off at our request.

I believe this place gave me food poisoning. I have been many times within the past months. My s.o. and I got the sampler apps and the southwestern eggrolls. Not even a hour or so after we got home the toliet and me were best friends, I spent all night getting sick and couldn't even keep water in my system. It was a horrible time. I'm not sure if it was the southwestern egg rolls or not but that seemed to be the main thing that wasn't agreeing with me. Please make sure your cooks are clean people and washing there hands. Thanks
