I am new to this area and last night went to this hometown institution, called Lee's Diner for the first time last night, and I will be back! Spaghetti wasn't my favorite but still very good, Chicken fried steak is a delightful guilty pleasure and if you want to try and eat "healthier" check out their chefs salad. Of course since their ranch dressing is so good I am sure my salad was no longer healthy, but it was so good! And their malts! Seriously it should be illegal to go there and not get a malt! Are you like me and new to the area? Lee's is a must try!

Everyone was so friendly. The batter on the mushrooms and onion rings was very light and fluffy. The hamburger was so big and juicy. Bring your appetite.

What a great place to have good food, drinks and shakes.
Located in "downtown" Hammond with a lot of parking space.
Unfortunately the service is not as good as the food is.
Overall a very good experience and worth to visit.

Pretty good food. Charged $2 for sweet potatoes fries with the Gene Autry even though it say includes two sides. And charged $5 for red beans side dish- it was like half a cup of rice and three tablespoons of beans. The overcharging is my only complaint. Great ice.

Lee’s used to have the juiciest best tasting big tenders, now they are dry, taste like leather & are in! Lost a 10+ year customer! Awful meal!!!

Cute 1950's style diner with a clean, fresh look. Food here is very good - but don't come expecting steak - it's drive-in diner style food. Very simple,, nothing fancy,, but always tastes great. The wait staff is always friendly and prompt. Great for a quick bite, as the food usually comes out fast. Very happy every time we go here to eat.
And the Onion rings are the absolute best- the very best!!!

Started going to Lee's over 40 years ago while in college. Recently moved back to area. Glad they are still going strong. Family friendly atmosphere. Great food, good prices and friendly staff. The ice cream, banana splits, hot fudge sundaes are killer. Walnut shake is one of my favorites.

The food was quite good. The service was outstanding! Our server was name Tyler. Very friendly and courteous. The bread pudding…. If you love bread pudding you HAVE to try it!!! Thank you for a great meal!!
