Had the duck last night.omg it was covered in brown gravy which made the skin that was crispy soggy. Also on a bed of lettuce and the hot gravy made the lettuce like wilted. Was not impressed with the dish at all. And omg the price was so high for the quality. Earlier that day I went and bought a lunch for a friend and brought to her. She told me that my cooking was much better the what we got from there.

China Lotus is our FAVORITE restaurant in Hammond! My husband and I have been eating here for over 10 years! The staff is always great! Christina always remembers exactly what we like to order.
As far as the food goes it’s phenomenal and by far the best Chinese restaurant in Tangipahoa!

We stopped in at lunch time and chose from the lunch specials. The food was very good and the staff was friendly. The only thing was the portion size. I guess like every thing else in the world, either go up in price or down in size. I will definitely return!

Do not eat here. The food tastes microwaved yet the wait time was 20min, the beef with broccoli was soupy and just bearable, and the Vegetable lo mein had no flavor, it's crazy expensive for the substandard quality, and you're not able to sub-out white rice for fried rice. I won't be returning. Now I need to brush my teeth to get rid of the taste.

had the Mandarin chicken and it was just canned brown gravy on top of the chicken with a sprinkle of green onions and no seasoning. Didn't even get one order of egg rolls that we ordered. Terrible food and would not recommend and will not be back.

Worst food I have ever eaten, they charged me full price for fried rice instead of getting the white rice. The chicken and broccoli was awful. The chicken was white with no seasoning and I will never return because even the attitude of the staff was bad
