This is now my favorite American burger joint. While the fries aren't my personal favorite, they are well cooked and crispy. The burger and customer service are what makes this place stand out for me. Stellar on both fronts. I think if they changed the fryer oil to something nicely flavored it would markedly improve the fries. The decor is very nice, while at the same time not distracting. I wouldn't call it romantic but it is perfect for a lunch stop. The prices are fantastic for the quality. I will definitely be returning. Jeannie's Mc: a hamburger that is perfect with cheddar cheese. Shrimp po-boy: excellent flavor and perfectly cooked shrimp.

Friendly people, a place where you can go and eat a home cooked meal for under 10$ a person and have a conversation about pretty much anything. They are passionate about the quality of service and food by ensuring that you have a wonderful experience. When they say "Y'all come back now!" they really mean it.

Quaint cafe with small town/country decor. We wanted breakfast but they were on the lunch menu when we arrived. Still, the waitress checked with the kitchen and found some things left so we could get some sausage biscuits. They were very good - the best we have found in the town. We were happy they accommodated us. The coffee was good, strong, and flavorful. The breakfast menu is pretty traditional but the omelettes look good. Daily specials, burgers, etc. Will go back again.

Wow! What a find. My wife and I were on our way to Mississippi from Texas and decided to stop for lunch at Jeanie’s. Our server was great (the owner’s daughter, I think) and the food was amazing. I had the fried catfish which was wonderful, but what I can’t stop talking about was the fantastic Cole slaw. By far the best I have ever tasted. The flavor was perfect as was the way the ingredients were prepared. If you think you don’t like Cole slaw because of others you’ve tasted, try theirs and I’m sure you’ll be singing a different tune. We’ll have to plan our next trip and time it just right to hit Jeanie’s again.

Very friendly and helpful staff at a quintessential family restaurant. We intended to try the breakfast, since it had been recommended, but we got there after 10:30. The sunrise burger was a good alternative — nicely done and seasoned well with the egg perfectly cooked. The fried chicken was also good, as were the sweet potato fries and the regular fries, which were crispy on the outside but soft inside.
