LOVE IT!!!! A HIDDEN GEM!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME!!!! THE FOOD IS GREAT!!!! I WENT BY MYSELF AND IT WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE. THE WAITRESS BROUGHT ME OUT THE DIFFERENT MEAT THEY HAD SO I CAN SAMPLE WITH ONE I PREFERRED. I NEVER BEEN TO ANY RESTAURANT AND THEY TOOK TIME TO MAKE SURE I WAS SATISFIED!!!! AWESOME RESTAURANT!!!!!

I was amazed with the kindness I experienced at this place. Cathie is an amazing woman and bartender. I went alone , not expecting the amazing treatment I got . I was welcomed in and felt like a regular right away. The portions are huge and I was able to make my left overs last a few days . Totally worth the trip and will be back soon.

Loved El Taco Real in Hammond, IN. The food was amazing and at an affordable cost. The customer service and dining ambiance was excellent. Recommend the enchiladas and Carne asada tacos.

Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. The hostess was our waitress and was distracted by other customers. I had to ask for a carry out container and our bill.

I love this restaurant! It has very good authentic Mexican food. The food is always a great level of spice and portion! I will say the salsa is a bit mild but other than that it could not be better! I would drive over an hour to try it out if I were you!

The food is always great. I got to be honest the last two times we were there the service was not very good. Waitresses did not come around and ask if we needed refills. Finally one of the more experienced waitresses came and serviced what we needed and took our to go order.

Very bad experience. It took my husband and I 10 mins of looking at the menu to see what we wanted because nothing looked appealing. Service was almost nonexistent. Took forever for them to check on us. The salsa was tomato soup. Only reason for 2 stars was because guacamole was okay and it was a cheap meal. Not somewhere we’d go back to.
