Wow, its been a while that I had a burger so tasty and wonderful as Jackson's burger. I ordered the house burger and it was amazing. The patty was juicy and the bun was wonderful.
The fries acted as a normal side, it could have been more better to make a perfect combination.

The food at the Jackson House is top notch. Jackson burger cooked to perfection and my wife's BadaBoom sub was delicious. Hand cut fries done perfectly and to top it all off pepper shooters! Hot Italian peppers stuffed with Genoa salami, aged provolone, Italian herbs and olive oil. Make sure you have cash though. I was a tenner short and a customer behind me slapped one down on the counter to cover me. Daren thank you again, a true gentlemen! I will pass the good fortune on to others.

The best sub in Central Pa PERIOD. It start with the bread and it’s amazing. The meat is freshly sliced per sub, and definitely made with love. I live in York and it worth the drive. It’s that darn good!!!

I had classic turkey sandwich with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The tomatoes are fresh Roma and the roll had the perfect crunch with soft bread inside.

Still one of the best burgers you can get in the area. If I get the chance to come here during their hours I usually try to visit. I came here all the time when I worked downtown. Worth the visit if you get the chance!

Best burger in the Harrisburg area! Cash only. Part of what makes it great is that their standard size is at least a half pound. They cook to your desired level of doneness. Also, they use fresh quality meat and have a great secret-sauce. Their bun is super-sized to handle their giant burger. They do subs too. Reasonable prices for what you get. This well-kept restaurant is on the small side with some unique food related artistic touches. They do a big take-out business. The staff is super nice, they always treat you like a long lost brother (or sister). It is located North and a bit East of the State Museum a few blocks down from the new court house they are building.

Went here for the first time today and I will definitely be back! The food was amazing and the staff was even better. I spoke to a man named Corey who was very kind and helpful! I loved the atmosphere of the place as well, it was definitely worth a hike, 10/10! :))
