Have not been here for awhile,so upon entering the original dining room I was surprised to see how it had been changed. No longer booths but lots of tables and that room is now used for parties, etc. It appears very stark to me. We went over to the Lounge which was a little better. They had booths but the lighting over tables nearly blind you. However,I had the 5oz Filet mignon which was done perfectly as I had requested. Their Loaded Mac and cheese with shrimp was not as creamy as described but there was a lot of shrimp. We also had their Soup of the Day...loaded potato... yummy... soup with cheese and bacon.We would probably give this restaurant another try.

The food was really good and the staff was very professional. I enjoyed my night out at this fine establishment in my Township. The atmosphere is like an old-time Lounge.. the decor was traditional. The staff was very friendly to me even though I'm a transgender woman. So if you're in the area please go to this fine establishment. You will not be disappointed. Sit a spell and just talk to the folks and have a good night.

My apologies in advance to anyone who is a fan of the Colonial Lounge. We went for dinner this evening and just as our meal was finishing up the woman behind us ordered a ginger ale. The bartender, who I later found out was the OWNER was walking past our booth with her drink and there was something black floating inside of it - large enough that I could clearly see it. Instead of doing the right thing and going back to the bar to get a fresh drink, he stuck his hand inside to fish it out and when he didn’t get it out the first time he did it again - knuckles deep, people. He then proceeded to deliver her drink and walk away. By the time I could process what I just saw she had already taken a drink but I immediately went and told her what happened. If I were dying of starvation and that was the last place on earth to get food, I would rather starve. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Great cozy/friendly bar that has great food at good prices. Also has the best live house band in all of Harrisburg that plays there basically twice a month and every time they play the place is the most swinging, happenin, good time party that you could ever experience.. There is also no cover charge, which is an extremely generous offer considering the caliber of the musicians in the band the fun groovin mood that their music and personalities infects the entire environment with. Lil' Brother is their name and they play every song you want to and also didnt even know u wanted to hear. They also have a hand full of original tunes that the crowd always eats up. So ya, in summary, the Colonial Lounge is a clean friendly and tasty place to spend your time. And when Lil' Brother plays, good luck finding a better party anywhere in the city.

I decided to check out some local Linglestown businesses, Colonial Lounge being one of them. I've had the chance to go there twice before writing my review, so Im going to be fair & balanced. Their prices are alright, not the cheapest, but not really expensive either. Our first time there we ate in and it was incredibly busy, they dining room was packed, but they still got our order out in a timely fashion. They recently updated the interior and added a very large deck, and in the bar they added a few flat screen TV's. They still have all the old out of state license plates hanging from the wall :-) Au Jus was just about right, but what really hit me was the wings! I'm not a wing guy, but for some reason I was just drawn to them, honey mustard and hot bbq garlic... Consider this restaurant for lunch if you're in the area!
