El Charro

Yesterday I went to El Charro on 33. Enjoyed my meal, paid, left a good tip and went about the rest of my day. 33 hours later I realize I'm missing my $500 roll of cash when I pulled out my other roll. I almost wrote it off as I lost it. Never to be found. Looked all over my house. Thought of all the places I could have misplaced it. Finally decided to have a call made to El Charro. A gentleman named Jose answered. After telling him the time I attended and the exact amount of cash. He said yes, he found it. He was told the table and the waitress who served me, as she was extremely kind during my visit. I made sure she was complimented for her kindness as it was very noticeable. He took my number and held it for me. I told him I was on the way. My purpose for going immediately was because I wanted to reward him for his honesty. When I arrived, he knew who I was. He verified who I was and I began a brief conversation with him asking the details of where the cash was and who exactly found it. He found it while cleaning off my table. He initially refused the $80 I was giving him until I insisted. Just thought I would share a positive story for the day.

Love their margaritas, but they now put their arroz con pollo in small to-go containers and all their other meals in regular size containers. They try to claim it's the same amount of food, but it's not. & no it's not because of an aluminum foil shortage. If it were, wouldn't all your meals be in a smaller containers??...I don't like being lied too....I also think it's ridiculous how they closed their drive-thru window , but if it's bc they're shorthanded, I understand. It was one of the best parts of ordering to-go from this restaurant, and hopefully they will bring it back.
