Giving them a five star review because, in spite of them messing up my order, they went above and beyond to fix this. I ordered the shrimp tackle box and got a chicken box (which yes is more expensive), so I went in the next day and they replaced the entire order - even the stuff they didn’t mess up. Friendly staff and management and I appreciate their efforts! Always fresh too.

Great Place to Eat in Harrisonburg This restaurant is located on the southwest corner of US Route 33 and University Boulevard. It is easy to get to and is a stand-alone building. The building is situated in a large parking lot so there is plenty of parking. The building has both a drive-through and a dine-in area. The Popeye’s chain has over 3400 restaurants, in 46 states and 30 countries. I have been to only about 4 of these, including this one. Each one has been clean, well kept, have friendly staff and great food. This one was very much like all the other ones that I have been to. There is a dining area with seating for about 50 seats at some tables, a few booths, and a counter. You order and pay at the counter and they call your number to pick up your food. The staff taking my order was pleasant and efficient. The prices were reasonable. The food came out quickly. I definitely recommend their iced tea, biscuits, and chicken sandwiches. You might also want to try their different sauces. They are delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to get something to drink or eat in the area.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Never in my life have I encountered such rude staff. My partner and I placed a mobile order to pick up after running some errands and we tried calling the store to let them know it might be a while. No one picked up the phone. All the information online said that mobile orders weren’t made until the customer comes to the location. Well, when we got our food it had obviously been sitting for well over an hour. My partner went inside to explain the situation in hopes of getting it remade or refunded. The staff made her stand around and wait for at least 20 minutes before they finally spoke to her. They were very rude in the way they handled the situation and refused to remake or refund the order. We ended up calling corporate because that type of behavior is unacceptable in the service industry. Neither one of us were rude to any of the staff but they could not return the favor. Luckily, the woman from corporate was very nice and we were able to work something out. Don’t come to this location expecting decent service. You’re better off getting food elsewhere.

I ordered the Family D set meal. When I received the takeaway, I opened it and found that there were only 4 spicy chicken burgers, a piece of French fries and a piece of biscuit. I missed a glass of Coke, but I didn’t give me a Coke for $2.09, and I ate it. The spicy chicken burger and French fries immediately had diarrhea. It must be because the food is not fresh. I am very dissatisfied. I am very angry. It is the worst takeaway experience ever! ! !

Would give zero stars if I could. Chicken was cooked in old grease and it wasn’t fresh today. My daughter and I ended up getting food poisoning. This is the second time in a row the food wasn’t good. This used to be one of our top favorite places. I will not be dining here again until the quality becomes better.
