Welcome back, CCC. The Flower show this year was super awesome; we are finally getting back to normal. People were walking around engaging and interacting with each other but still being mindful of what's going on but at the same time enjoying life and the beauty of it. The place was "Packed" one of the best events we've seen in 2&1/2 years. We'll done Ct. & Mass. Vendors. The setups were beautiful; the crowd was amazing, and the atmosphere was a sigh of relief. Thank you, our Lord God!

Nothing compared to Boston Flower Show, but it was interesting just the same. Lot of non gardening vendors. Only one elevator was working in the parking garage. And we were on the highway waiting in line for the exit 25 minutes. Every car going to this event. Plan extra time for the highway and elevator.

Michael Costelli, the General Manager of the convention center was the most disrespectful and unprofessional person I have ever come across in this industry. My company rented a space from this convention center. We are at a different convention center every weekend all over the country. I disagreed with something that he said (after reading the contract he was in the right) However, the way he handled the situation was incredibly inappropriate. He was downright mean. He left me in tears. He got in my face, pointed his finger at me, yelled at me and I couldn't believe how hostile he was. I didn't know what to do. As a survivor of abuse the experience extremely traumatized me. I thought about even calling the police it was that bad. I hope he was just having a bad day but after reading the reviews from other bad experiences it seems like this is just his personality and I am not the only person to experience this kind of terrible attitude. I wish there was something I could do about it, however, because he is in such a high position there is literally nothing. We are a few weeks out past the event and I'm still thinking about it. I have never never never had an experience like this in a professional setting. I have already informed my company that I will not be travelling to anymore Hartford events. I'm sorry for the City of Hartford as this manager puts a stain on what could be such a great place.
