Whitney Pizza & Grinder

I regularly buy pizza from them all the time (3 years) I honestly like the pizza and they’re open late but the customer service could be better, it’s hard to understand them sometimes and they get upset with you if you can’t and hang up on you. Delivery takes over an hour then the food isn’t that hot when it comes to you and the delivery drivers want to give you an attitude because you don’t want to tip. You sat in your car and made me wait that’s not a service, didn’t even get my pizza right asked for something so simple twice “cut my pizza in slices please”. I get that it’s busy but all the time? I want what I pay for sad to let them go.

We had order 10 wings and a chef salad. We had sat inside. As we observed. We had notice that the workers doesn’t have great Customer Service. The person taking our order seem a little frustrated like we had Disturbed his peace when we had first walked in. The Chef Salad was very salty. The wings are good. We had order the 10pc Garlic Parm wings. I only would recommend going only if there isn’t any other restaurants open. We had rate them 2 stars. It’s really one. Even though they were rude doesn’t make us Rude.

I ordered from here twice. Once when I had was at my sisters house, and last night. The first time I had ordered a calzone, it was correct and delicious. Hot, gave extra sauce, and followed my instructions. Last night my mom and I decided to order a couple burgers. It took about 45 minutes but that is what the expected delivery time was. The driver called me and was so kind. Let me know when he was on the way and when he had arrived. The food was excellent. Just two classic cheeseburgers, all instructions followed and was surprised to see it came with fries because they were only 7.99. I ordered directly from their website instead of doordash and had a great experience. I will order from here again in a pinch, I only get take out a couple times a month when I’m out of work late - they have yet to disappoint and will be my go to place for quick efficient take out. I did see many bad reviewers before ordering but decided to give it a go anyway because I had a good experience the first time. Well I was pleased again. 5 stars, thank you south whitney!

I slept on this place for about 7years bc I had a bad food experience my 1st visit. One night hunger struck and I was stuck bc it was the only place that was open that late. Glad I decided to give them another shot food wise. My food was great. The wings were fried to perfection and the half turkey grinder was fresh and delicious. I've been ordering food from them here and there ever since. Try them

There items are good & things could be better if they listen to the customer when they are placing an order to make sure that you get what they want done correctly the 1st time. The employees are not good with wanting to fix the problem, so it makes you want to go other places unless you don't have any other options at that time. You have to catch the owner to make him aware...then they fix the issues.

Worst experience. In a time in which small businesses are struggling you’d think they’d be nicer to their customers or atleast respectful. Placed an order through their site which provides the option of paying with cash upon delivery. After 10 mins I receive a call from a number that doesn’t belong to the pizzeria asking for my credit card information in order to process my order since the delivery is in Bloomfield. I asked for them to call me from the pizzerias device or I could call to provide my card info that way and the response was he would call me back from the store phone. What I then received was a txt message asking me to never order from them again, should’ve paid attention to its 3.2 rating…
