It's clean, they are social distancing & all is well. Masks on upon entering the building & until you get your food & return to your table to eat. Sanitize hands, put on gloves & fill your own plate. Put on mask everytime you go to the buffet. Use new gloves everytime you want to get a new plate of food. Notice people reuse gloves instead of taking new gloves each time they get a fresh plate of food. Food does tend to stay on the buffet longer than usual because of covid & the fact that they can no longer pack people in as they use too. If you get there around 2:30/3:00pm the food seems to look like it's been there a while and looks a little less fresh. Wait a little while, I think 4pm, & they will begin to prepare buffet for supper. Open @11:30 am.

Amazing as always. I'm afraid Ponderosa is becoming a scarce commodity these days and they are few and far between. This location is a short 45 minute drive from my home and a little road trip (Pink Floyd on the play list) for amazing meatballs, chicken drummies, deep fried cheese...in the stick and curd form, and mac and cheese is well worth the time my friend. Go get some! Oh, and amazingly attentive and friendly staff!

My family has been going here for years for Sunday breakfast/brunch. The pandemic has kept us away for over a year, but we were able to celebrate Mother's Day here. The restaurant is always clean the food is pretty good. I've never ordered off the menu - only experiencing the buffet, but I never walk away unsatisfied.

Great variety on food select, just very poor service. Make sure your server has all your drink orders or maybe order 2 drinks right away. She never introduced herself, never brought all our drinks, avoided our table completely until we put items to bussed before she noticed, never made eye contact to see if we were alright so I couldn't even get her attention if I needed to. Too busy gossiping with her tables to check if we needed refills. Donna was not worried about her tip or her lack of service, maybe an 8 top was too much. Manager and cashier were great. Will definitely recommend, will definitely be back.just hope we don't get the same server, request a server that actually cares about customers and quality service. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

If you’re aboriginal and have a large party, look closely at your bill. Party of 20 + a child was overcharged by $200+ dollars after the waitress came and asked us how many we had then she counted herself. Very unprofessional. Food wasn’t seasoned of course lol. Also they have no menus for their additional meat menu apparently, so take a picture of it when you come in. Gratuity was also included for our party and I’m sure that’s not standard practice for all, probably just our large party. Others may have a different experience, this is mine. Im glad they didn’t ask to see IDs for the senior discount!
