Visited for a midweek lunch. Decent pub fare, with a menu of traditional English dishes. Great Suet pastry Steak & Kidney. The room was ably run by a single server.

It's the best Sunday roast I've had in years. I'm still salivating thinking about it, and I can't wait to go back again and again! If you're looking for a mouthwatering pub grub that tastes like food from a Michelin Star restaurant, here's the place to be!

We are 5 ladies who meet up monthly for lunch we enjoy it so much we have been back several times.
Usually we change our venue monthly but this pub is too good to miss. Thanks to all the staff and of course the cook/ chef.

What a lovely village pub. The food was fabulous. The beer was great too. If anyone from the pub is reviewing, what was the name of the hand pulled bitter you have there please.

First time visiting as we were in the area and was very delighted with our food. This pub serves your "traditional pub grub" at afford prices. I can recommend the steak pie it was lovely and decent portion size too. The young man who served us was friendly and pilot. As we left the pub all the staff said goodbye which was nice. There is a child play area so makes it a perfect place if you had small children. We don't have children so there is the odd distraction but but it didn't bother us that much.

A Fantastic meal and atmosphere right on my doorstep. This is one of the few great pubs left nowadays with honest, classic pub food at reasonable prices. If you eat a main course, please have a desert too. You'll die for the proper classic crumble or the chocolate fudge pudding with Ice cream or custard. Mmmm! The service is also prompt and warm, with the owners being really hospitable.
Don't hesitate to try this great 120-year-old village pub.

An absolute delight! This place is what all pubs should be like! Fantastic staff a wonderful menu excellent cocktails (so my wife and daughter tell me) and a manager that really cares about what they are all doing!
