The Grill

The food was delicious and the service was great. There was live music which was a bit loud but it was decent cover music. Inhad ordered the scallops. Very small portion of scallops. Only 4 medium to small scallops. They were good and tender and cooked perfectly. No need to cut them in half they are one bite full each. Dinner is done ok come again.

Great place. Have been there many times and always enjoyed the food and service. Their lunch is more like dinner size portions with lunch time pricing. Their happy hours has a wide array of apps for half price. Occasionally, they have live music at night. If you are in the Hauppauge industrial park area, swing in to this place.

Came here for my birthday. The place was very nice, they had live music but it was definitely too loud. I was practically yelling at the people at the same table. The food was very delicious and came out fast. They messed up the bill though. Trying to charge us $28 for a $6 side of potatoes. They fixed it right away but I'm glad we caught that. The menu was kind of pricey for what you're actually getting.

The food is always amazing and excellent service without a question! Very well priced for the quality of food here! My favorite place on the Island hands down! Live music on fridays as well, very cool ambiance! Happy hour at The Grill is an awesome opportunity to network and have a great meal and cocktail.

I am glad to see new ownership in this old location. Turns out my old waiter is now part owner. I ate lunch there yesterday and had the Cobb Salad my coworker had another salad. One of the best I have ever had. The chicken was actually moist and tender and not dry at all. Just enough dressing and nice combination of sweat and tangy. Service was excellent. A great new spot for people looking for a great lunch in the industrial park as there are no real good options in this area. Has a great NYC feel and menu. Great choice.

Read some reviews about this place but heard new owners took it over late November so gave it a try. The place looks beautiful with a great vibe, definitely a great happy hour spot!! Tried the grilled chicken special sandwich and it was delicious, my friend had the burger and thought it was one of the best!! Needless to say that we will be back!!!

Went to the The Grill last Friday night what a fabulous time. The restaurant was fully renovated and looks so good I was so impressed they changed the whole bar around. We had appetizers Pissed off Prawns and Burnt Ends what a different dish and yummy is all I can say. I had the Beet Salad and my husband had the Striped Bass, the salad was out of this world my husband said the striped bass was one of the best!! Our waiter was very attentive and a pleasure. We will be going back for my sisters 40th Birthday next week.

Dinner for four on Saturday night was great. Service was attentive. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. I had the Angus short ribs that were tender and flavorful. The chef was very accommodating with any special request. The restaurant is under new ownership. Everyone there was eager to please and that, combined with a great chef, made for a perfect evening. My advice-give them a try. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

I have been going to the Grill Room for years, it has always been my most favorite spot. My husband wanted to throw me a surprise dinner for my 40th birthday, and knowing this was my favorite spot, he chose this location. He set it up for people to arrive at 7:30pm and we got there at 8pm. By 10pm, they closed the bar down, and my husband asked if I could just get one more glass of wine, and the owner himself told him that sorry they close at 10pm, and it was late (seriously it was 10pm on the dot.) They were shutting lights and everything. I felt really bad for the waiters who felt awful being put into a position to cut us off so quickly. My guests all walked away feeling let down that we were getting booted out so fast. It probably would have helped if the owner explained they shut down at 10pm (on a Saturday night.) so my husband could have planned for a better location for the size of our group (about 18 guests). I think there are new owners. 4 years ago I had my son's baptism party there and everyone raved, but the previous owners were very accommodating, it is a shame they sold the place! So beware, if you want to have a nice dinner, get there early, otherwise, you will get rushed out.
