Phoenician Restaturant

Walked right in sat at the bar. The bar tender was a riot! She had us laughing and feeling good the whole time we were there. She's really good at her job. The food was also quite the experience! I had the lamb chops, they were done to perfection. Their grape leaves are one ff the best I've had. I'm so happy I went here. Will definitely be going back. It was all worth it! Can't believe this place has been here in Haverhill this whole time and I never knew. Can't wait to go back soon!

The food was very good and the service was exemplary. Four of us enjoyed dinner. The portions were very generous- Large enough to be lunch for tomorrow. Despite a full restaurant, the server was very friendly and attentive. Will certainly make The Phoenician a part of our plans whenever we visit the area.

My wife and I love a good fattoush salad. In our ongoing search for the best in the area, we tried the Phoenician tonight. In addition to the salads, we ordered grape leaves and hummus. Both of which were terrific. Unfortunately, we found the salads to be disappointing. Which is surprising at $26 each when you add some chicken. 7 small pieces of chicken for an additional $13. That's more than $1 per piece! The produce was fresh, but the traditional flavor was missing. We had to add our own sumac to kick things up a notch. The search goes on...

Came here last week.. we pre-ordered 2 Bake stuffed lobsters .. which both were over cooked.. The shells were so hard we could barely get the lobster out of the shell.. My brother ordered the surf and turf he asked for his prime rib med rare it came out very rare .. he told the waitress he wanted med rare .. she told him that's the way the way they cook it.. never offered to take it back.. very disappointing with our meals especially after paying 355.00.. For that price our meals should have been spectacular... The only meal that came out good was my husband's he got the haddock.. Don't think we will be returning back

Took Family to the Phonecian Restaurant to celebrate Brothers Birthday. Started off with huge pile of fresh Syrian Bread w/ Hommus, Taboulie and Red Onion. Also had side order of stuffed cabbage. Delicious! Dinners followed... Mom, my 2 brothers and I had the prime rib with baked potatoes and garden salad. King cut was 32 once bone in and Queen cut was 30 oz. All prime ribs were perfectly cooked medium rare with plenty of Au jui. Step Dad had Assorted Platter which had stuffed pepper, steak tips, rice,baked Kibbee and green beans. Wife had Broiled Haddock. Meals were all prepared to perfection. Everybody took home a doggy bag, portions were large. Service was friendly and spot on. Price was reasonable $340 for 7 people with tip @$410. Included meals, sodas and 6 appetizers. Location off the beaten path down 110 heading into the valley. After dinner went to Dolce Fredo for Gelato. Which was also excellent!

We usually are very pleased with the friendly staff here. We looked on internet to find it would open at 12:00 for Mother’s Day. Drove from NH, got there a little early so sat outside as staff arrived. We went in at noon to find out that they decided to change the time to 1:00 but never fixed it online. Their only comments were oh well you can sit outside for another hour if you want. Very disappointed with outcome and attitude.
