Five Guys

This place was an absolute joke. When we arrived there was only one other lady in the place as a customer. We waited over 25 mins for a little burger and a regular burger. My husband while waiting decided he wanted to add fries. When he went back up to order the lady walked away and kept him standing there… no acknowledgement what’s so ever. My husband stood and waited patiently and finally after waiting for an additional 5 mins after the girl walked away he walked back to our table. Her friend comes walking in… the girl immediately walks over and takes her friends order. 23 mins for 2 burgers and only 4 customers in there… a bit ridiculous. When she called our number finally, I asked how long it would take to add a fry and she laughed and said you will have to wait. We are short staffed. What a joke! Terrible customer service and I don’t know how many people is fully staffed but there were 5 employees working. Last time I’ll go there and I’ll be sure to spread the bad word.

The fries are usually fresh and the shakes are thick and delicious. The staff are usually friendly and on top of things, however lately I've seen a bunch of horsing around between the workers, which only shows as an unprofessional workplace. And the prices are getting outrageous for two people to eat a burger and fries. Maybe I'm just to old these days?

I was pleased with my overall visit this evening. Due to dietary restrictions, I gave the staff a confusing order online. When I got there, I discovered it wasn’t quite right, but wasn’t too far off either. When I explained to them what I meant with my order, the young man cooking the fries offered to make me a brand new one immediately and apologized— which wasn’t necessary at all. When I asked if I could just have a bowl set up, the shift lead quickly made me a bowl with all the requested fixings. The burgers were tasty, and my husband commented that the fries stayed crispy and hot even after the drive home.
