Bagelicious

We used to come here every weekend. absolutely loved it, friendly service, delicious bagels, always thought it was a bit pricey but were happy to pay it. Came in today to get take away for the first time in months, paid $60 for 4 bagels and 1 drink. Take my first bite and It's absolutely terrible. the bagel was soggy, the lettuce and tomato were wilted, the extra avocado we paid for was scrapped so thin and the halloumi was cut into thick chunks and not fried at all. So disappointed, especially considering how good the food used to be. Not sure if the owners have changed or it was just an off day but we are extremely disappointed.

Was so disappointed. I love a good bagel and made our way here on the public holiday to treat ourselves. We paid $50 for four bagels, two salmon and two chicken and mayo. We didn't get given the bagels we ordered, and the biggest disappointment was the serious lack of fillings. I could see them scraping their containers for fillings, i thought it was butter, but when we opened our bagles we found a millimeter scraping of a chicken mayo type spread and a few slices of tomato. The salmon ones were only slightly better, with at least having salmon in them but all the other fillings were so light on the bagels lacked all the flavour they should have. I look forward to a response to say that this was a one-off, otherwise I can't see why i'd go back and waste my money. Wish i'd taken a photo, but honestly it just looked like a plain bagel with no fillings.

Very very average bagels, not fresh, tastes and feels like store bought bagels, cream cheese was good but jam was below average, On the board they say they toast there Bagels, think they might have forgotten to do that as the bagel was soft and chewy . Tip for the owner? Maybe take a trip to Huff Bagelry in Carnegie to get some ideas on what good bagel taste and look like,

I attended Bagelicious Hawthorn earlier this morning extremely eager to have my favourite bagel, only to have to wait 35+ minutes for a smashed avo bagel & a BLT bagel (without tomato)... in this time people who had been there longer than us hadn't received their food, delivery drivers were waiting 10+ minutes for orders and nobody was even apologising for the delay. After having the BLT bagel brought out without the iced coffee we'd ordered with it, I then got brought out a smoked salmon bagel which I hadn't ordered and had to wait further for the correct bagel. After leaving the store quite irritated, I start to eat my bagel only to have the bagel taste like salmon (EW!) as they'd prepared my bagel with the same gloves they'd been preparing others with. Not only that, the BLT bagel we'd ordered had tomato on it??? They were obviously understaffed which has caused a domino effect through the delivery of service. Really disappointing experience today.
