Lina's Pizza

Lina’s pizza on Barkers Road is the best pizza place and Italian takeaway. Staff here are super friendly. What can be better than a lovely family owned pizza shop. Food here is great with perfect serving sizes and full of fresh ingredients. Gluten free options are available in both pizza and pasta. Delicious ice cream and gelato. The price is reasonable than other restaurants or takeaways. Fresh ingredients all over the pizza with perfect mixed cheese on top and it’s very flavourful. The cheese is the best, crust well cooked, crunchy and delicious. Food is ready in reasonable time even during busy hours. I would definitely recommend and come back here as the menu is quite large so there is plenty to explore at each visit.

The best local pizza shop in the Hawthorn, Kew, and Camberwell area. I have tried almost everything on the menu and would definitely recommend this family owned pizza shop. The guy (owner) is so friendly and always has smile on his face which makes me happy. The perfect pizza takes about 20 minutes to be ready, it’s tasty and good price for what I buy. My order is usually the specials of two large pizza and free medium garlic or drink. Give it a try and you’ll fall in love with their pizza and customer service ❤️

Got 3 takeaway pizzas. Garlic pizza was very oily but ok flavour. Americana was weirdly un- pizza like if that’s possible. No flavour and very strange texture. The Hawaiian was ok but pretty bland. We are new to the area so been trying different pizza places. Won’t name the competitors here though. Sorry but won’t be back.

I'll start off on the note that Lina's Pizza is excellent by way of quality of pizza. The service is fast and pizzas always fresh. On the other side they are not the cheapest, and there are two other pizza places in Richmond which are as good (although on swan street so more painful to park). A family traditional pizza is $21, whether it be vegitarian, include meat or margarita. One would think meat on pizza is more expensive cost in produce than a cheese pizza with a little garlic. So when I requested extra garlic on a cheese pizza (no meat) I was somewhat amazed to be charged $1 more. Sure a further buck is nothing when paying $21 for a pizza but the cost of ingredients would surely be less than one covered in meat or vegies? Based of feeling ripped off I'll happily use my other two locals and give this a miss. No loss really for either party however asking for extra garlic on a cheaper pizza to cost in raw ingredients doesn't pass my pub test. I was even told extra garlic was free on small and large pizzas but not on family. Huh? A pizza costing $5 bucks more than large coats me more but not by spending less? Wouldnt you want someone spending $5 more on a pizza that's at most 5cm wider on diameter? So the owner seemed happy to lose the business altogether....strange!! The manager seems pretty arrogant regarding the quality of their pizza. While excellent they are equal to Fruscolino (who are actually award winning) and Rita's pizza Abbotsford. Both will offer you better service, equal quality pizza (Rita's probably the best but $$$) and far better value for money. Overall hard to justify food costs have increased when I'm not having a pizza covered in meat or veggies (cheese only) and still being charged equal to those and additional for extra garlic. Definately won't return. Great pizza + Absolute rip off -
