La Tropezienne

Tried their chicken schnitzel roll. Unfortunately it tasted pretty bland and below average for a bakery roll. All I could taste was the rocket and sauce, of which there was waaay too much. One half of the roll had barely any chicken, which itself was pretty tasteless and a bit dry. Bread was alright at least. My money ($11.50) would have been better spent at Schnitz down the road, where I can get the same thing, but with more ingredients and much better flavour for 40 cents more. Cakes and pastries looked nice and the young girl that served me was friendly, however.

Limited vegan and breakfast options. The menu listed on the EatClub App had a number of vegan options but none were available when we got there so I settled for fruit toast. The macaroons were a hit with my vegetarian daughter but her poached eggs arrived overcooked. Staff did offer to cook them again when I pointed it out, but she was too hungry and didn’t want to wait. On the whole the visit wasn’t worth it despite the 20% discount provided by EatClub.
