Continental Deli

Ordered a grazing box over the phone (generous small size $50) as well as some deli rolls for a lockdown picnic. We went with the recommendations and any likes/dislikes were accommodated. Standouts in the box were the brie and honeycomb, hummus, olives and prosciutto. Highly recommend! We shared these 2 boxes between 5 and didn't finish everything :)

Fantastic family-run European deli. Large selection of quality meats, cheeses, breads, spreads, and other delicacies. They also serve the best sandwich in Melbourne. Their salami, goat cheese, capsicum, and eggplant sandwich brings me back every time I'm in the area. Their other sandwiches are likely among the best in the city, but I can't bring myself to order others as that one is SO good.

Having moved to Victoria from SA some short months back, I'm writing a review to share my warmest feelings for this family run shop. I first came across the storefront on my way out of a trip to woolworths and was taking a look through the cured meats window. The owner greeted me with a handful of prosciutto and demanded I ate it. At the time, I didn't expect to be frequenting the shop as often as I am now to keep up with the demands of my home cooking, but after a few visits I've found the shop to be a bounty for rare finds and DOP italian product. Moving to Victoria, I feel blessed to have discovered such a gem near where I'm living run by good people who are passionate about the inventory that they sell.

I love the Continental Deli. I went nearly everyday in year 12 and was always greeted by a wonderful smile and chat about my day. I bought the baguette with Prosciutto, basil pesto, sun dried tomatoes and swiss cheese, and it was the best part of my day. Absolutely delicious! I highly highly recommend ❤️
