El Pollo Loco

First time here just to try the birria... tacos were too small for the price to be justified so I got a birria burrito instead... got home and only this much in the cup even though there is a line inside that shows it had more(no leak in my bag or car) and a few bites in... WHERE IS THE MEAT?! Down to the halfway point and finally discovered some meat... I don't get it

I try not to complain. I haven't been to El Pollo Loco since I lived in California many years ago. It was always one of my favorite restaurants. Today, I decided to get dinner for my family. I was in line for about 30 minutes in the drive thru, no big deal really, I understand and am willing to wait for fresh good food. But the quality of food that I received was terrible. The chicken was a mess when I opened it. It was all beyond dry, the wings were cooked so well done that there was no meat left. The rice was crusty and the chips were so stale. I'm very disappointed, and unfortunately will not be back. I'd like to think it was just an off night, but the other reviews are apparent that it is happening on a regular basis.

Ordered curbside ahead of time cause we are in a rush to have dinner before a meeting and we show up to the store and they have their curbside pick up locations in the back of the store where there aren’t any parking spots they refuse to let people in the store and they route you through the drive-through which is backed up and not moving. So after ordering ahead we still have to sit in the drive through and wait not moving at all . Horrible customer service will not be back .

From a 5 star to a 1 start. Food is still good but their service of the past several weeks has been anything but positive. Today was the worst!! I spent an hour in the drive through line waiting. When I asked why the hour wait in line, his response was we are short staffed. Thing there were 5 people working in there. All were slow, as if they had just started and had no clue what was going on. This same scenario happened a couple of weeks ago as well. Management needs train their staff to move and think.

I am a new to El Pollo Loco, I was very pleasantly suprised with the menu and the grilled chicken. For a "fast food" restaurant... I was impressed with the food, the staff, and the cleanliness of the location. My only complaint was that I felt 2 tortillas was not enough for the 3 peice meal I ordered. Maybe I will order extra tortillas next time.

This particular store is a joke. We made a stop there and was in line for 54 minutes. The drive-thru cashier had me wait 17 minutes just at the speaker. I understand that we all are under stress, but please don't take it out on your good customers. Behaviors like this unfortunately causes me not to go back for a long time
