Such a quaint lil place with freshly made sandwiches, soups, and salads! You can dine in, take out, or walk across the street to the gazebo or Ohio Riverfront for the perfect lunch/picnic!! Prices are very affordable and service is prompt!

Oh My Goodness and Deliciousness!!! I got the red beans and rice and the gumbo yesterday to eat for supper. It is ABSOLUTELY delicious. Being from Louisiana, this is the BEST gumbo and red beans/rice I've had at any eating establishment!!!

My boyfriend (he works 7P -7A in Sebree & I (live in Newburgh) wanted to meet up for breakfast in Henderson so I googled breakfast restaurants Henderson. sidewalk cafe pops up.we walk in & the atmosphere seemed like we interrupted NOTHING!! The woman that was behind the counter (presuming owner as she was telling us “the menu” didn’t have an updated printed one) seemed to be pushing us out wicker than we came in!!!
Said the only thing she didn’t have was Biscuits & Gravy. If you open @ 0700 why don’t you have a better breakfast menu? If you only serve lunch & dinner foods open for those hrs. Not open on the weekends either. Complete waste of time & gas especially with gas prices RN!!! We left & went to better restaurant that greeted us like people & customers!!!

Best Downtown Cafe. Sweet Ladies. Food always made Fresh. Delicious. I always order the same things. Yum so fresh and a decent Price. Wont go back to the greasy fast food chains. You wont be Disappointed

The owner was nice but I was very disappointed in the taste of food. Pimento cheese tasted like it was package cheese mixed with sugar and syrup. Chicken salad and potato salad was ok but nothing we had tasted homemade.

This is my favorite lunch place in Henderson. Consistent quality, friendly employees, pleasant environment. Basically the menu is just really good soups and sandwiches , and some good homemade cakes, so it's not the place to go to get a heavy lunch of fried chicken or a cheeseburger, etc.
