Haus Heidelberg German Restaurant

This was our second visit to Haus Heidelberg. Both times were amazing. The atmosphere is fun, the staff friendly and helpful and the food tremendous. We had the potato pancakes to start and they were perfection! Then we had a sausage platter and the Jagerschnitzel. Both were prepared perfectly and delivered hot from the kitchen. I almost forgot the salads, they were amazing. The pickled cucumbers were the sour to the carrots sweet. Really well done. We’ll be back.

Our server, Matt, was awesome! He ran the entire floor by himself! This place rocks! The food was superb. Every dish we ordered was delicious! We had the Jagerschnitzel with roasted potatoes , Helge’s Rueben with the hot potato salad,German tomato soup, another Helge’s Rueben with the Spatzle, the Lentil soup with franks, and a Haus Heidelburger. After this feast , we still made room for dessert and had Helge’s Apple Strudel and Pfirsisch Peach Melba! Both were absolutely fantastic! Service by Matt was attentive, helpful, and friendly! He certainly did a lot to make our visit amazing! We’ll definitely be back! If you’ve never been here, make it a point to visit Haus Heidelberg in Hendersonville. You won’t be disappointed!

This German restaurant has excellent food. They have sandwiches and plate meals. The lentil soup is fabulous. The ruben sandwich was excellent. The hot German potato salad was interesting but good. Don't expect it to remotely taste like American potato salad though. We had great, friendly service. It is a small restaurant but has a friendly old world casual atmosphere. Parking is available in the front and back.

Made reservations last min for an anniversary dinner, asked for booth in the back. When we arrived the coziest booth was waiting for us. Everyone was friendly, adorable atmosphere, such a great vibe with yummy smells and happy people. This place was packed yet still cozy and homey. I had the sausage sampler and hubby had the sampler platter, everything was wonderful! The deli attached is such a great idea - you can get their homemade sausages to cook at home as well as sauces, chocolates etc. We live an hour away but are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Haus Heidelberg and our lovely waitress (red hair) for making our anniversary dinner very special! 🩷
