Boss Burger & Brew

What a great place with many brews to choose from and the burgers were fantastic. My wife had the El Benny which is a burger with herb crème cheese, guava, fried egg and bacon. WOW!!!!! Is all I can say - sweet and salty. I had the TNT burger with ghost pepper cheese, jalapeños, caramelizad onions and mushrooms which was fantastic. Just the right amount of heat.

My family and I went to dinner last night at this restaurant. Based on the reviews we were really excited to try this place out. The beer selection was extensive and we really liked the beer selection they have. We ordered our burgers. They had a lot of neat and creative burgers which we liked. My husband ordered his burger cooked medium, it came out well done. Then another issue we saw, (not that this affected us personally, but my husband and I have restaurant experience so this is an issue for others) the bacon is cooked in the deep fryer, due to the religious dietary restrictions of some, restaurants should not be cooking bacon this way. We could tell it was fried in the deep fryer because of how the bacon was curled, which happens in a deep fryer. My daughter’s and my burgers were fine, but we ordered them well done anyway. I think they should work on their burger cook times more to ensure that the guests get the temp they ordered. The other issue was the fries. They were very clearly frozen from a bag, which I know some places do. But our fries seem to have been the burnt ones from the fryer. They were flavorless and not what we were hoping for. Something we found odd was the lack of guests in the restaurant on a Saturday night. The fact that a restaurant had nearly no people in it on a Saturday night is a dead giveaway that there are some issues with this place. I was willing to chalk it up to a bad location but the food not being cooked properly could have been the problem. The decor was very nice, their beer selection was very nice. But their kitchen needs some work. I felt that the reviews were very deceiving. We were very excited to try this place and left very disappointed. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Me and my wife was watching TV and saw someone making amazing burger so we had an idea to go to a place that we find online that looks like a good burger place. We get here and we get greeted to there's not a place to sit down but they can make something happen for us so we accepted and they seated us. We ask for our drink order and everything was fine. So a little while after we get asked to order our food. I ordered the grand Jefe my wife ordered the El Benny and my mother in law ordered the beyond burger and hands down all I have to say is one of the worst unflavorful tasting burgers and dry that I ever tasted. We ordered medium rare and they came out extra well done. I'm not just saying that. I work in the industry and I would never try to serve someone food that they wouldn't like to eat. Maybe the cooks had a bad night but I won't recommend this place.

If I could give ZERO stars that's what this place would get. Service was terrible. We didn't get acknowledged for 5 minutes. Drinks (water) took forever to arrive and we never got refills. Didn't know we should have ordered our food when we ordered drinks. Had to ask a different server for our bill and she didn't relay the message. So we had to go to the bar to pay. Food was decent but carryout may be the way to go with this place.
