El Rey De Los Jugos

I really didnt like how the place looked when I walked in, not tidy, I had a jugo de mamey & it was ok (but not as good as the one at El Palacio de los jugos) I really thought it was a branch of El Palacio, but the employee told me it wasn't. I bought two beef tamales to take home, we were very disappointed ! First of all its not made with the corn used for Cuban tamales, which is "maiz tierno", these were made with regular corn meal which is NOT the same, it had one piece of meat the size of a nickel, and had no sofrito, which its what gives it the great taste. I do not recommend this place, neither will I go there again.

Went to this place as it was recommended to me by a party planner, being there and standing there for about 10 mins, and 2 ladies behind the counter seeing me, ignored me. Looking at the food, didn't look fresh either. First and last time. I don't need to say excuse to be attended, when it was only those 2 plus my daughter, mother and myself in this place. Now I know l, why it wasn't empty.
