Popped in for lunch with my family and had a lovely meal. The guys behind the bar made us aware of all the great deals on and saved us money. The football was on and the atmosphere was amazing! Friendly and attentive staff

Incredible atmosphere to watch the rugby World Cup final as well as a great variety of options to watch other sports, catering for all tastes, paired with impeccable food, a go to spot for all sport events.

Nice big building. Food is great. Chef came out to ask if we had a nice meal and it was lovely. The manager was very kind and helpful helpful. The pub was very clean. The service was very speedy and magical. The atmosphere was very good for the time of day. Prices very cheap. Very nice music. People in the pub very happy and friendly. Bar was beautiful on the back and very clean. Lovely people the young man behind the bar couldn't do enough for us.
Fantastic place came for rugby match and boxing overall was a great night! Lots of people great atmosphere very friendly staff kind and caring very polite super fast service! Great drink prices cheapest place in town during live sport! The turnaround was great from rugby to boxing 👏 food was super tasty definitely the wings! Stevie checked on us to ensure everything waz good with our meal. The sound was perfect level. Everyone was happy and merry for SA to win even the staff! We would highly recommend yates as a place to watch sport!!

Come in to watch the rugby final with a couple of mates south africa vs new Zealand. The sportsmanship around the pub was exciting and tense while the game was going on at times cheering with happiness. The staff on that night I could not fault. We also discided to stay to watch the fight. The staff were very kind and let us first enjoy the rugby and watch the cup being lifted by South africa. Once that had finished the bar team changed to the fight it was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. Bar staff were amazing. Can't fault them. 10/10

We went to watch the rugby it has an exciting atmosphere and was very busy. The staff were friendly and the turn around was smooth and just flowed just in time for the boxing match to start with very little if any disruption to the customers and atmosphere.

Came in and spoke to " the lovely manager stevie" about booking a table and he coildnt of been nicer! He booked our leaving do for us and we had a amazing time. Food was great value and drinks were reasonably price. Overall pur visit was great! I would recommend!

Love going here for a full English breaky. Great tasting and an absolute bargain. The current chef there is amazing. She makes lovely food and has been a delight every time ive gone in. She gives the place that personal touch that keeps you going back.
