Starbucks

Holy epic sauce!! (really. the coffee sauce is good stuff) I went here two days this 3 day weekend. The cold brew was underwhelming flavour wise but the iced coffee was definitely EPIC. SAUCE! 👊🏻☕ Lots of flavour in there. The cold brew just tasted like a regular (tasty) cold brew instead of "clotted cream fudge with white chocolate sauce" with that kinda name we did expect more flavour. The table was cleaned for us which was appreciated 👊🏻 hope to grab an iced PSL here soon 🎃🍂 signing off, Boots... ☕👊🏻 Update been back again for my first pumpkin spice latte of the year. BEN made my coffees with speed.. precision..and perfection. Noticed him my previous visits as well thank you for your epic coffee skills 👊🏻

Like any other Starbucks. Seated and drinking our strong black coffee by 0800. Usual scenery of laptops out and work mode commencing and ample Teams meetings happening around us. Ample.plugs and good WiFi signal. Coffee was of typical Starbucks standards. Seating could do with a good clean as they were looking on the dirty side with stains from spilt drinks..

Just had the most whimsical Starbucks experience. Please do picture this with me… a hot spring morning recovering from a sleepover, recovering from a hangover. Begrudgingly getting out of bed to run the days errands, to wycombe town i head. Feeling adventurous on this morning, i seek for a different drink, im a thrill seeker what can i say, adrenaline junkie uh.. yeah guilty! 9:12am I’m looking at the starbucks menu. 9:13am I'm ordering 9:14am I've ordered 9:15am i am over the moon. I go for the salted caramel cream cold brew *grande*. As i ordered a familiar friend entered the shop, i was surprised due to the track record of starbucks misspelling the ever so simple name of hers; kamila, camila, kamile and my favourite cumella. We have all had to suffer the curse of starbucks employees misspelling our names, some of mine have been; friea, freyan, fraya, raya, freja, and fairwell(somehow). Our names are freya and camilla i struggle to understand how it is so difficult to comprehend. The wait was restless, will my name be spelt correctly? Will they give me the correct drink? What if they forget? Similar past feelings of neglect and pain come back from my primary school experiences of children misspelling my name. But alas by some miracle my name was spelt correctly???!!! How is this possible have i been freed of the starbucks curse? Or did the employment team finally hire someone that can spell? But nothing could’ve prepared me for what came next in a swift and clear voice the worker passes my friend her drink, the tension and worry was settling in as mu friend looks to me with a concerning face she slowly turns her drink around to reveal. “ C A M I L L A” we contain our happiness not to cause a scene, ecstatically exiting the cafe we discuss about this crazy coincidence that our names have been spelt properly on the same day!! I wish these employees the most joyous and love filled lives and hope the continue to battle the stereotypes of all starbucks workers being illiterate. Unfortunately i did not catch the names of these employees, but i ordered at 9:14 on 17/05/23.

I am absolutely ecstatic, thrilled, rejoiced and overall euphoric. I feel rebirthed, like a new woman. Just had the most life changing customer service experience of my life. It was 9:00am, I had just awoken from a deep slumber unfortunately hungover. I Thought to myself, “ I know what I need” it was then that I found myself at the doors of Starbucks. With my spirits low I trudged inside, I was met with a lovely cashier. I ordered and thought back to the unfortunate spellings of my name in the past, kamila, camile, kamile and most memorably “cumella”. My hopes weren’t very high, infact I found myself saddened, shocked and hurt by these incidents. But I understand we’re all human in the end. My cashier however has raised the bar forever, by completing a very mundane, simple act. Spelling my name correctly. Not only did I find that my name had been spelt correctly, but also my drink was absolutely delectable, delicious and delightful!! I will forever look back on this very moment, I will tell my kids, my grandkids and hopefully this legacy will be passed on for generations. For today I have experienced the unimaginable, the most amazing cup of coffee that has ever graced my taste buds. Paired with the correct spelling of my name. I hope that both employees that contributed to this event live long happy lives, I hope they’re content with the path they take in the future. But mostly, I wish them well. I ordered at 17/5/23 at 9:13am, I did not catch the employees names but they both deserve the absolute most. :D
