Walker Bros. Original Pancake House - Highland Park

Lovely pancake house! Beautiful solarium area with detailed stained glass. Stayed for the walker combo, eggs & cheese & breakfast sausage -substituted the banana pancakes ( which are topped with orange suzette sauce!) Butter is whipped! Great service, super fast. There omletes are oven baked and beautiful! ( will order next time around)We loved it here.

From my understanding all their omelettes are backed. The fresh vegetarian omelette is as big as your head so to speak. It appears that everything is served with a side of pancakes! The pancakes taste like grandma's recipe! The Veggie Omelette was amazing my wife and I split it. Walker Brothers featured coffee is a special blend of coffee roasted to their special specifications it is dark, rich and nutty. The interior is a wood workers dream with Dental molding, cove and cornice molding, panels and paneled archways! Setting all of the beautiful architecture off is this glint of Tiffany and art glass all around!

I absolutely love Walker Bros. Original Pancake House! It has been my all-time favorite breakfast spot for years now. Their banana french crepes are very delicious and always leave me wanting more. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the service is top-notch. The only downside to this amazing place is that it's extremely popular, especially on weekends, so you might have to wait in line for lunch. But trust me, it's totally worth the wait.
